What's in season in March?

Goodbye winter, hello spring! It's definitely on its way now with longer days and bulbs starting to emerge in the garden. Time again to treat ourselves to all things fresh, local and seasonal…

Fruit and veg: beetroot, blood oranges, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, chicory, leeks, mint, mooli, oranges, parsley, pineapple, purple sprouting broccoli, radishes, rhubarb, sorrel, spring greens.

Sustainable fish and light meat: haddock, halibut, John Dory, lemon sole, lobster, mackerel, mussels, oysters, pollock, sardines, sea bass, sea trout, wild rabbit.

March recipes:
