Ingredients:
4 ripe bananas, sliced in half lengthways
2 tbsp agave syrup or fructose (or honey or brown sugar if you are not following a sugar-free or low-GI diet)
4 tbsp dark rum (optional - do not add if you are following a yeast-free diet or the Best Bet Diet) |

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Lay the bananas on aluminium foil in a baking tray.
Sprinkle the agave syrup / fructose / sugar and rum evenly over the bananas.
Wrap the foil around the bananas, and bake for in the oven for 15 minutes.
Serve with ice cream or sorbet. |

This dish is easy to prepare in advance and cook at barbecues too. |
